Online Education Program Ranked Among Best in the Country

Jul. 8, 2015

Webster University’s online education program was named among the best 15 in the nation, according to a study published by OnlineU.org this week.

To be considered for the rankings, institutions had to be non-profit or government-funded, had to have regional accreditation and offer a program fully online. The rankings in the study were determined by acceptance rates, enrollment rates and entrance exam scores. Other data collected included tuition costs and degrees offered online.

The study was conducted by the SR Education Group, an education research company located in Washington state. The full survey can be found online at http://www.onlineu.org/.

This isn’t the first time Webster’s online programs have received national recognition. U.S. News & World Report named three of Webster University’s online programs among the best in the country in its 2015 Best Online Programs report: Webster’s online graduate education programs ranked 2nd in Missouri and 86th nationwide; online graduate business programs ranked 4th in Missouri and 67th nationwide; and the online MBA program ranked 7th in Missouri and 126th nationally.
