Spring 2017 Student/Faculty Collaborative Research Grant Call for Submissions
Oct. 17, 2016
The Student/Faculty Collaborative Research Grant Program, funded by the Office of the Provost, provides assistance to current undergraduate students conducting research under the direction of a faculty member.
Collaborative research is an activity that is recognized as providing high impact
learning, offering students the opportunity to gain insight and experience into their
professional or research fields while developing relevant skills.
Now in its fourth year, the Grant Program has funded more than 70 research and creative projects. Many students have presented their research at conferences like the Research Across Disciplines (RAD) conference sponsored by Webster, as well as at professional conferences in other cities.
Applications are reviewed twice each academic year by a Grant Program committee. Applications are due no later than Friday, Dec. 12, 2016, for funding to be used in Spring 2017. [UPDATE: The original deadline of Dec. 2 has been extended to Dec. 12.]
