Library Offers Live Chat Research Help

Webster University Library is excited to announce extended research help through live chat.

Students can now get assistance overnight Monday through Thursday by using "Chat with Us" on the Ask a Librarian page of the Library’s website.

Outside of our regular reference hours, this feature will provide assistance in finding articles, finding books, formatting citations, and much more. Extended chat hours allow us to provide quality and convenient research help to all Webster students, even when accounting for time zone differences.

This service will be available during the following weekday and weekend hours (all times CST):

  • Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 a.m. (inclusive of overnight CST)
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.

For further information, please contact the Library Reference Desk toll free at 1-800-985-4279 or through the Ask a Librarian feature on the library web site.
