ARC End of Semester, Winter Break Hours Dec. 22 - Jan. 2 Students and employees are encouraged to utilize the ARC's services before its hours adjust for winter break

The end of the Fall 2017 semester is near, and the Academic Resource Center (ARC) encourages Webster employees and students to use all services fully during this time and between the Fall and Spring semesters as well.

Hours will be adjusted during student breaks; the ARC will be closed from 4:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22, until 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Specific hours and scheduling details for the weeks before and after the all-campus winter break are as follows for the Testing Center, Tutoring Center, and Writing Center:

Testing Center

The Testing Center will be open Dec. 18 - 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Dec. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Testing Center will reopen on Monday, Jan. 8 with its regular schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone interested in an appointment the week of Jan. 2 - 5, should call 314-246-8225 regarding scheduling options.

Tutoring Center

All regular Tutoring Center hours will be observed throughFriday, Dec. 15. Individual tutors will be available by appointment only during the week of Dec. 18 - 22

For tutor availability, go to http://webster.mywconline.com. The Spring 2018 Tutoring Center schedule will be posted online at www.webster.edu/arc as soon as it is finalized.

Writing Center

Fall 2017 Writing Center scheduling will continue through Friday, Dec. 15. Weekend hours will not be held between Saturday, Dec.16, and Sunday, Jan. 14. Weekend hours will resume on Saturday, Jan. 20. The Writing Center will have limited appointment hours during the week of Dec. 20 - 22

For writing coach availability, go to http://webster.mywconline.com. The Spring 2018 Writing Center schedule will be posted online at www.webster.edu/arc as soon as it is finalized.

Other services

Faculty and staff members should keep in mind that ARC team members are available to visit their classes and/or department meetings to make presentations on a variety of topics, including academic counseling and Gorlok Grit Huddles; academic integrity; ADA accommodations; assistive technology; the Plagiarism Prevention Program or PPP; and/or the Testing, Tutoring and/or Writing centers. Faculty memebers are also encouraged to schedule in-center tours for their classes.

MBA waivers and language waivers are also common during the Winter Break. The Academic Resource Center proctors these exams to eligible students.
