Student Success Portal: Final Weeks of Introductory Training for Faculty, Staff, Students

Oct. 27, 2017

Student Success Portal Training Continues for Faculty, Staff, Students
Find out what this highly intuitive portal can do for you and your students.

The Student Success Portal, powered by Starfish, launched Oct. 16. Users (students as well as faculty and staff members) may now access and explore the highly intuitive and easy-to-use system at their leisure, and trainings continue to more formally acclimate users to the current functionality.

The final two weeks of introductory training offerings are below, and the details for all sessions may be found online at www.webster.edu/success.

An earlier Webster Today article explained the first phase of the Student Success Portal launch: The rollout will include information about setting up profiles, understanding and submitting early alerts (Flags), providing positive feedback to students (Kudos), and connecting students to resources through their personalized success teams. In addition, training will focus on online appointment scheduling and shared advising notes.

The Student Success Portal will ultimately be a robust system used throughout the global Webster network. This initial phase will focus on the Webster Groves campus and then rollout out to the domestic and international campuses. Early adopters at the domestic and international campuses are welcome to begin investigating the system with the knowledge training will be forthcoming in a future term.
