About the ARC

ARC team members are available throughout the summer and want to connect with you, your departments, your classes, etc., to share information about our programs and services as well as new and exciting Webster initiatives with which we work—even the Student Success Portal, powered by Starfish. Particular areas that may be of interest follow:

  • Academic ADA accommodations and disability awareness
  • Academic Counseling and Gorlok Grit Huddles (brief workshops on topics such as managing time in stressful situations, adjusting to change in college, understanding academic expectations, game plans for finals, and more)
  • Academic integrity at Webster and the Plagiarism Prevention Program
  • The Student Success Portal, powered by Starfish
  • Testing Center best practices
  • Universal Design
  • Webster’s Prior Learning Assessment initiative

Department and college/schools meetings are a great time to invite ARC team members to come (in person or virtually) to share more information and to have discussions. To schedule a discussion, meeting, or presentation, visit our website and click on the Request an ARC Presentation button. Complete the form and submit your request; we will follow up promptly.

The Academic Resource Center serves the global Webster system and is available by phone, email, and video conferencing to all Webster students and employees. It is located on the Webster Groves, Missouri, campus in Loretto Hall, room 40, with additional staff offices down the hallway next to the ARC.
