New Career Resource for Military-Affiliated Students
Webster offers several resources for military-affiliated student and alumni communities in navigating the transition to a civilian career.

The Career Planning & Development Center (CPDC) has added a resource to aid Webster University's military-affiliated student and alumni communities in navigating their transition into a civilian career.

The guide, developed by Rebecca Nelson, associate director, includes a collection of resources through the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, essential networking tips and information, identifying transferable skills through public service, and military-friendly hiring sources.

Students can access the guide online here.

This resource is a one of several that the CPDC has developed for targeted student communities. Earlier this year, Nelson and the CPDC were recognized for the community career guide for international students by the National Career Development Association (NCDA).

The CPDC is committed to developing resources to assist all students explore and define their personal career goals while developing the skills and confidence necessary to succeed.
