Snapshots: Egg-cellent Turnout for Annual Alumni Association Easter Egg Hunt

Good weather prevailed as the Easter Bunny got lots of hugs, the Gorlok got lots of high-fives and Silly Jilly (the balloon lady) wowed kids and parents alike with her newest creation – the balloon bow headband. Almost 100 children participated in the Easter Egg Hunt, held on the Quad on Saturday, March 26, which has been an annual tradition for the Alumni Office the past 16 years.

Four golden eggs – two for the age four and under group, and two for the age five and older group, were hidden amongst the eggs.

The children who found the golden eggs won an Easter basket filled with Gorlok-themed treats, as well as other goodies and coupons provided by School of Communications alumna Melinda Horrell, BA ’08, who works as the marketing director for the Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Sunset Hills.

All of the parents and children enjoyed the nice weather at the 16th annual Alumni Easter Egg Hunt.

Congratulations to Erin Rivers, Global Marketing & Communications, for creating the winning entry for the Easter Egg Decorating Contest, “The Gorlok and his Springtime Friends.” Other entries include: the Webster Minion, Bunny Eggs, Yoda and Superman vs. Batman.
