Reception for Online, Metro, Military Graduates Coming to St. Louis

The Online Learning Center will host the annual reception for graduates who completed their studies online or at Webster’s metro or military campuses and are coming to St. Louis for the 99th Commencement. Held Friday, May 11, 4-6 p.m. in Sunnen Lounge, the event provides an opportunity for these graduates to visit the main campus and meet faculty and staff in person.

Celebrating in Orlando

Florida Campuses Celebrate 2018 Commencement in Orlando

Commencement season is underway and Webster University's campus locations in Florida got this tradition off on a celebratory footing with a celebration for graduates in Orlando on April 21. Glenton Gizean, president and CEO of the Central Florida Urban League, delivered the keynote address, while Board of Trustees member Scott Wuesthoff welcomed graduates and Associate Vice President Donavan Outten conferred degrees.

Webster Students, Alumni Win Excellence in Nursing Awards

Two Webster University nursing students and one alumna are among the winners of St. Louis Magazine 2018 Excellence in Nursing Awards. Additionally, three alumni and two current students were among the finalists. The Department of Nursing offers a BS in Nursing and a MSN to registered nurses seeking to further their education and advance in their career. Both are accredited by ACEN.

Homecoming Weekend is Sept. 28-29

Changes to Homecoming: Reunion and Spirit Weekend

The Office of Advancement and Student Affairs Office are pleased to announce a new plan for Webster University’s traditional Homecoming Weekend, which takes place each fall at the main campus in Webster Groves. On Sept. 28-29, 2018, the Office of Advancement will host Reunion Weekend for alumni and friends, including special events for the 50th Reunion Honor Class and private class gatherings for alumni celebrating 5-, 10-, or 25-year reunions. Separately, the first annual Spirit Weekend for students and families will be held Feb. 8-9, 2019.

Scholars, Donors Celebrate at Annual Scholarship Dinner

More than 300 guests joined Chair of the Board of Trustees Lynn Britton, President Beth Stroble, and Provost Julian Schuster for the 2018 Scholarship Dinner. This special evening unites Webster University scholarship recipients with their patrons to celebrate, connect and learn from each other. The evening also featured live music by Webster students and a tribute to Dr. Donald Suggs. Webster University is grateful to all who attended and appreciative of our donors' support of Webster students.
