The soccer teams' donation of lunch to local nurses was covered by Gazelle Magazine, Fox 2 news, KTRS 550 AM radio, and the Webster-Kirkwood Times. ... Emmanuel Balogun's op/ed on the WHO's importance in global and U.S. health efforts ran in the Washington Post and was picked up by several other newspapers.

Webster Alumnae Latham, Lam Help Bring Disney's 'Frozen 2' to Life

December 12, 2019

Take notice when watching the hit Disney film "Frozen 2," currently in theatres. While set in a fantastic imaginary kingdom filled with magic, singing and an anthropomorphic snowman, astute viewers may spot a lot of Webster University hidden between the frames of the film. Webster graduates Leah Latham '10 and Ashley Lam '11 both contributed to the layout and production of the blockbuster hit.

New Webster Seal Unveiled with Contest Winner

Webster University's new seal was unveiled at Commencement Dinner. A design by Sarah Lafser '15 (BA Animation) was selected through a contest that drew submissions from current students, alumni and faculty. "Webster has had such a huge impact on my life that goes beyond a degree," she said. With that in mind, she said her design modernizes the seal and reflects Webster's global impact while incorporating elements from past seals in its history.

Animation Program Ranked in Top 50

Webster University’s Animation Program in the School of Communications was ranked 21st best in the Midwest and the 48th best in the nation by Animation Career Review, a website for people aspiring for careers in animation, game development/design/art, graphic design, digital art, and related fields. Criteria used to rank a school include academic reputation, admission selectivity, the depth and breadth of the program courses and the faculty, the value of the school as it relates to tuition and average student debt, and geographic location.
