Bill Lynch Named Interim Director of Confucius Institute

The Office of Academic Affairs announced that William (Bill) Lynch, professor in the Conservatory of Theatre Arts and former director of Webster’s London campus, has been named interim director of the Confucius Institute at Webster University. Lynch joined Webster University in 1992 as associate professor of voice and speech and was promoted to full professor in 2006. He served as London director from 2009 to 2015.

OASIS Partnership at Eden Continues with Summer Sessions on Syria, China

Webster University continues its partnership with Eden Theological Seminary and The OASIS Institute, a leader in adult continuing education and volunteer programs, to offer high-level learning opportunities for adults age 50+ in the Webster Groves community. Classes held on the Eden campus feature instructors from Eden, Webster and OASIS. Courses this summer include Don Conway-Long on the Syrian civil war Aug. 2 and Deborah Trott Pierce on the one-child policy in China on Aug. 8.
