Craig Miller Honored in Diverse Business Leader Awards

Craig Miller is one of the recipients of the 2017 St. Louis Business Journal Diverse Business Leaders Awards. As Webster's director of facilities planning and management, Miller has been essential to the completion of East Academic Building and Browning Hall, among other construction and renovation projects. He was honored at the annual event Friday, Sept. 8, as well as in the Sept. 8-14 issue of the Business Journal.

Payroll Provides Plastic as New Payment Option

In an effort to create more convenience for employees, Webster will introduce the ALINE Pay Electronic Services by ADP on Sept. 1. This will be a new payment option for all student, staff and faculty employees. By moving toward a paperless payroll system through the introduction of The ALINE card, the University will also realize annual cost and time savings. Ana Karaman Named Vice President and CFO

President Elizabeth (Beth) J. Stroble and Provost, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Julian Schuster announced that Ana Karaman, PhD, has been named vice president and chief financial officer, effective Sept. 12, 2016. Karaman comes to Webster University after serving as vice chancellor for Administration, Planning and Finance at the University of Washington Bothell. In addition to her administrative roles, she continues a successful academic career as a faculty member in political science, international relations, comparative law, and political economy.

Xerox Assessment Team on Site to Map Machines March 7-11

The week of March 7, Webster University, in partnership with Xerox, will be assessing the current campus work environment of the St. Louis Metro campuses (Webster Groves, Winghaven, Westport, and Gateway locations). Rick Wosmansky, the onsite Xerox representative, will accompany a small team to document important information on printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners and multi-function devices as requested.

Interim CFO Announced

Webster University President Elizabeth (Beth) J. Stroble and Provost, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Julian Schuster are pleased to announce that Douglas P. Anderson has been named Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective Jan. 21, 2016. Anderson brings over 30 years of financial and senior leadership experience in both the non-profit and for-profit arenas. He served over 20 of those years in the capacity of CFO.

Gunderson Named President of Park University

December 02, 2015

Webster University vice president and chief financial officer Greg Gunderson has been named the new president of Park University in Parksville, Missouri. He begins his new post on Jan. 15, 2016. Gunderson started at Webster in March 2011 and served on the administrative council, provost’s council, and worked closely with the president, provost and the board of trustees.
