The Library's Laura Rein has been named a Fulbright Specialist, Thailand's Tim Andrews has been appointed senior visiting research fellow at the London School of Economics, Katie Ervin served on a panel for the K.C. Executive Leadership Summit, and a team from the Online Learning Center and Advising will present in Jefferson City on how Webster serves transfer students.

Midwest regional director Katie Ervin was elected to the Command and General Staff Foundation board of trustees, Global Leadership Academy directors Holly Hubenschmidt, Erik Palmore, and Laura Rein co-authored a panel presentation on global inclusive leadership development for an international conference, and librarian and archivist Kathy Gaynor had a counseling teaching reflection published in the book, "The One-Shot Library Instruction Survival Guide."

Colorado Springs' Margaret Reed accepted the Patriot Award for support of Guard and Reserve members, professor of German Paula Hanssen received the Friedrich Hecker Freedom Award from the German American Heritage Society of Saint Louis, and Fort Leavenworth's Katie Ervin was one of 16 participants in the National Security Roundtable program co-hosted by the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College’s School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) and the CGSC Foundation.
