Falconer Receives Fulbright for Suicide Prevention in Kazakhstan

Webster University adjunct faculty member Jameca Woody Falconer has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to work with the Dariyana Foundation in Kazakhstan this spring. She will address suicide prevention for psychologists, psychoanalysts, mental health professionals, parents and others. Falconer is a counseling psychologist and faculty member in the School of Education's Applied Educational Psychology/School Psychology program. She is also a co-leader of the Institute for Applied Educational Psychology and Intercultural Research.

Adjunct international relations faculty member Edythe Weeks has completed a Fulbright Specialists appointment at Omsk F.M. Dostoevsky State University in Siberia, Russia. International Relations lecturer and coordinator Robert Barnidge has published the research monograph, "Self-Determination, Statehood, and the Law of Negotiation: The Case of Palestine." Webster Vienna international relations professors Samuel Schubert and Johannes Pollak have published "Energy Policy of the European Union."
