Webster to Host Quebec Gaming Industry Conference

Centre Francophone at Webster University has received a $12,000 grant to organize a symposium on the video game industry in Quebec, as well as on issues related to translation and cultural localization in French. Professor and Centre Francophone director Lionel Cuille said the conference on Oct. 5 will demonstrate to American technophile students that French studies are are also an asset for their career prospects. High school audiences will also be welcome, with the symposium concluding with an esports competition.

In addition to Filmmaking (June 12-16) and Music Recording (June 12-16 or June 19-23), we will be offering Game Design (June 5-9) and Sports Communication (July 10-14) camps.
