Student Life Hall of Fame Nominations Due Oct. 18

Nominations for the Student Life Hall of Fame for this year are now available. All nominations must be submitted by Oct. 18. The Student Life Hall of Fame recognizes those individuals who demonstrated an outstanding commitment to improving student life at Webster University through campus, or community, involvement and/or participation in organized campus activities.

Nominations Open for Webster Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2021

The Webster University Athletics Department has begun accepting nominations for new members into its Athletics Hall of Fame. The deadline for nominations for the Class of 2021 is Oct. 2, 2020. Former Webster players, coaches, and teams, and other individuals who have made significant contributions to the Athletics program are eligible for selection to the Hall of Fame.

Webster Alumni Inducted into SLIAC Hall of Fame

March 31, 2020

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced four new members to their 2020 Hall of Fame Class. Of the four chosen, two of the inductees are former Gorloks: former women's soccer player Ashley Everett Zeier and former men's soccer player Kevin Fann. Upon selection, they became the 12th and 13th members with Webster ties to be inducted into the SLIAC Hall of Fame.

Four Selected for 2020 Student Life Hall of Fame

Elizabeth Robb ’65, Chris McGee ’01, Benny Roberts ’09, and Gaby Deimeke ’16, have been selected as the newest members of the Webster University Student Life Hall of Fame. They will be inducted at a ceremony to be held Feb. 7, 2020. The Student Life Hall of Fame recognizes those individuals who demonstrated an outstanding commitment to improving student life at Webster University through campus, or community, involvement and/or participation in organized campus activities.

Webster Athletics Names Hall of Fame Class of 2020 Inductees

Webster University Athletics will place six new inductees into the Webster Athletics Hall of Fame during at the 2020 induction in February. This year's inductees are former student-athletes Greg Murphy (men's golf, 2003-06), Andy Rudroff (men's soccer, 2006-09), Craig Schaefer (baseball, 2008-11), Jenna Steiner Sladek (women's soccer, 2006-09) and Crystal Wilson Wurth (softball, 2001-02), as well as Niel DeVasto, longtime retired athletics administrator and former sports information director Niel DeVasto (1984-2017).

2018 Pioneer Award Recipient Marian Dooling McIntyre '61

The Webster University Alumni Association is pleased to announce its 2018 Pioneer Award recipient, Marian Dooling McIntyre, who was recognized for her contributions to Webster Athletics and the field of physical education at the Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Feb. 10. She began her education at Webster College in 1957 and was an active student, playing both basketball and volleyball all four years of her college career and serving as President of the Athletic Association.
