Annual Recognition Breakfast Highlights Service, Leadership

The annual post-commencement Faculty and Staff Recognition Breakfast held May 16 in Grant Gymnasium, was an opportunity for community members to pause after a busy commencement weekend and salute outstanding faculty and staff for the year’s accomplishments and for career service milestones. Ruben Molina, Randolph Air Force Base director, and Abby DePew, coordinator for Athletic Recruitment, Office of Admission, were announced as the 2017 Staff Members of the Year.

Voluntary Summer Week Furlough; Floating Holiday Information

The University will again offer interested staff the opportunity to take a voluntary one week furlough between May 27 and July 31, 2017. Additionally, as announced at the St. Louis Employee Recognition Breakfast, a floating has been approved for all regular full-time and part-time staff to be taken between June 1 and Dec. 31, 2017. Summer Tuition Remission Applications Due

May 19, 2017

Tuition Remission Application forms are due for eligible, Summer 2017-registered Webster faculty, staff and dependents. Submit completed, supervisor-signed Tuition Remission Application forms to via interoffice mail to Terrie Snyder, Business Office, Webster Hall, Room 101; scanned and emailed to; or faxed to 314-963-6105. Questions regarding Webster's tuition remission benefit should be directed to Human Resources.

Staff: Completed Your Degree? HR Accepting Request for Award Forms through May 20

Human Resources is accepting Request for Award Completion of Degree forms from Webster Staff through May 20, 2017. Full-time non-academic staff in the United States who complete a degree from Webster University or from any other accredited institution of higher education will be granted a cash award of $500 for an associate’s degree, $1000 for a bachelor’s degree, $1500 for a master’s degree and $2000 for a doctorate degree.

Webster Wellness 1st Annual Indoor ''Try''-Athlon Results

The Webster Wellness Committee would like to congratulate the 22 participants of the 2017 Webster Wellness 1st Annual “Try”-athlon that took place from April 17-23 in the University Pool & Fitness Center. Participants competed against fellow members of the Webster community in one of the three divisions (All-in-a-day, One-Week Format and Team). All participants are invited to the Final Celebration on April 28, 2017 @ Noon in the Library Conference Room.

Luke AFB Student Earns CCME Scholarship

During the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) symposium in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this month, Luke Air Force Base graduate student Katie Chavez was selected as one of 15 recipients to receive a $1,000 scholarship. CCME offers students who are United States military members and veterans, as well as spouses of service members and veterans, the opportunity to apply for scholarships to assist them in completing their higher education degrees.

Electronic W-2 Statements Available on ADP Portal

February 07, 2017

Electronic W-2 statements are available on the secure ADP portal through the MyWebster website. If you did not opt out of receiving a paper W-2, it will be mailed to your address of record this week. In addition, all eligible employees will be receiving form 1095-C in the mail, which is the required form certifying an employee’s healthcare coverage status, as required by the Affordable Healthcare Act.

Go Red For Women

Go Red For Women, Raise Awareness For Heart Disease Feb. 3

For the past several years, Webster University has actively participated in the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day campaign, Go Red for Women. This year’s goal is to raise $1,000 and increase awareness in the fight against heart disease in women. By wearing red on Feb. 3 and making a donation of any amount, you can be part of raising awareness of what the American Heart Association (AHA) calls “the silent killer.”
