Luke AFB Student Earns CCME Scholarship

March 15, 2017

During the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) symposium in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this month, Luke Air Force Base graduate student Katie Chavez was selected as one of 15 recipients to receive a $1,000 scholarship. CCME offers students who are United States military members and veterans, as well as spouses of service members and veterans, the opportunity to apply for scholarships to assist them in completing their higher education degrees.

Electronic W-2 Statements Available on ADP Portal

Electronic W-2 statements are available on the secure ADP portal through the MyWebster website. If you did not opt out of receiving a paper W-2, it will be mailed to your address of record this week. In addition, all eligible employees will be receiving form 1095-C in the mail, which is the required form certifying an employee’s healthcare coverage status, as required by the Affordable Healthcare Act.

Go Red For Women, Raise Awareness For Heart Disease Feb. 3

For the past several years, Webster University has actively participated in the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day campaign, Go Red for Women. This year’s goal is to raise $1,000 and increase awareness in the fight against heart disease in women. By wearing red on Feb. 3 and making a donation of any amount, you can be part of raising awareness of what the American Heart Association (AHA) calls “the silent killer.”

2017 Open Enrollment for Benefits-Eligible Employees

October 20, 2016

This year’s enrollment period is Nov. 1-15. Benefits-eligible employees will need to make an active election to update any benefits or to continue their Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account contributions. Benefit-eligible employees will be receiving their detailed packet of information at your home address this week of Oct. 17. Take time to look through the materials and plan to attend one of the information meetings starting Oct. 26.

Important Staff Pay Info for Hurricane-Related Campus Closings

A number of Webster University campus locations in Florida, South Carolina and Georgia have closed as a result of hurricane Matthew and evacuation directives. Staff at those locations will be paid for time during the official campus closure for which they were originally scheduled to work. Please see these important instructions to ensure time and payment is recorded.
