The Library's Laura Rein has been named a Fulbright Specialist, Thailand's Tim Andrews has been appointed senior visiting research fellow at the London School of Economics, Katie Ervin served on a panel for the K.C. Executive Leadership Summit, and a team from the Online Learning Center and Advising will present in Jefferson City on how Webster serves transfer students.

Job Fair Connects Kansas City Employers, Job-Seekers

Webster's Kansas City campus location hosted a job and networking fair that connected 12 employers with over 70 job-seekers in the Kansas City area, including current students and alumni. The employers were enthusiastic about the quality of the candidates they interviewed, and many scheduled in-depth follow-up interviews with those they met at the fair.

In the News: Stroble in Ingram's '50 Missourians,' KMOX on St. Louis

Webster University President Elizabeth (Beth) J. Stroble was named to Ingram's "50 Missourians You Should Know," citing her advocacy for private colleges in the state. Separately, she was quoted in a KMOX-CBS Radio story about regional investment and commitment to downtown St. Louis after Webster re-opened the historic Arcade Building as home of its Gateway Campus.

Webster, Hispanic Chamber Celebrate Commitment to K.C.

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City celebrated the new home for Webster University’s Kansas City location on September 30, with a ribbon cutting ceremony renewing the campus’ purpose and commitment to the Kansas City community. Leaders spoke of Webster K.C.'s 40th anniversary in the community and its history of providing programs driven by employer and student demand such as Teaching English as a Second Language and the MA in Health Administration.
