Collaboration among the Online Learning Center, the Walker School of Business and Technology, and the Little Rock Air Force Base campus location has led to a pilot to integrate WebNet+ into the on-ground Master of Public Administration program, with the opportunity to integrate WebNet+ into other programs Webster offers at Little Rock.

Little Rock Sponsors TEDxMarkhamSt Student Competition

Webster Little Rock area campuses recently partnered with Little Rock’s TEDx franchise, TEDxMarkhamSt, to host its first student speaker competition. The competition was open to all students, high school, college, graduate, and post-graduate, with three Webster faculty members serving as judges. "We all benefit from hearing new and big ideas," said Little Rock area director Kelly Lyon. "It’s exciting to play a supporting role in something so important to our community.”

Webster Joins Little Rock AFB for 60th Anniversary Gala

Webster University joined the Little Rock Air Force Base Community Council in celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Little Rock Air Force Base, home of one of Webster's Little Rock-area campus locations. Webster has been in the area for half of the base's 60 years. Several Webster faculty, alumni and a student participated in the gala, where Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson was the featured speaker.
