Enter the Annual Juried Photography Show

Entries for the 2018-2019 Annual Juried Photography Show are now being accepted. All currently enrolled Webster students in all programs worldwide are eligible, as are students who were enrolled in any term in 2018. The exhibition will run in the May Gallery from April 5-May 3, with a reception and awards presentation on Friday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m. Any work that involves a photographic process is welcomed, but the work should have been produced during the past year, while a student at Webster.

The opening reception for the Annual Photography Faculty Exhibition is Friday, Jan. 25 from 5-7 p.m. in the May Gallery. Faculty from the Webster University home campus exhibiting work include Robin Assner-Alvey, Thomas Barkman, Bill Barrett, Claudia Burris, Dan Dreyfus, Krista Frohling, Christine Giancola, Greg Landrum, David Hanlon, Dominique Macaire, David Moore, Caroline Philippone, and Jennifer Silverberg.

May Gallery: Centre Francophone Hosts Exhibit, Talk 'Mon Paris' by Peter Glendinning

The Centre Francophone will host an artist's talk with Peter Glendinning, whose "Mon Paris" ("My Paris") is on exhibit in the May Gallery March 2-31. The talk at 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, in Sverdrup Room 123, is moderated by Webster University faculty members Bill Barrett and Lionel Cuillé. Glendinning shares his vision of Paris having rented an apartment in the Marais annually for two weeks each summer.

Artist Talk and May Gallery Opening: Jen Morris, 'Sanctioned Memory'

The May Gallery's current exhibition, "Jen Morris: Sanctioned Memory," is on view until Nov. 3. Morris will speak about her work at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, in Sverdrup 123, and join the reception in the gallery from 5-7 p.m. Also, in the Small Wall Gallery see solar eclipse photos from Webster community members Bill Barrett, Inocencio Boc, Ron Gaddis, Patrick Giblin, Christine Giancola, Kristi Lenz and Susan Hacker Stang.
