On April 2, Lt. Gen. Henry P. Osman (USMC, ret.) took time out of his active schedule to attend a class at Webster University’s Henderson Hall campus. As a momentous learning experience for this class, the graduate capstone students recently interviewed Osman, and gained valuable feedback on their research from a company president.

Professor Linda Brown’s CHNG 5000 class experienced organizational development in action. Organization development, by definition, is the area of study where students and professionals learn to hone in on their skills, marketability, organizational tactics, and effectiveness in project management. With her students in the right course at the right time, Brown's class got to learn firsthand about the 10-year Wharf project, from its official inception in 2007 to its opening weekend celebrations in Fall 2017.

Sean Coleman, associate vice president for U.S. Military Campuses and Government Programs, has announced his retirement from Webster University, effective Aug. 31. During his time at Webster, Coleman had a major impact on the University’s reach and enrollment of students in the National Capital Region, as well as its service to military students throughout the network.

Students in Nate Wilson and Gybrilla Blakes' classes heard about the fundamental, human side of military families that often gets overlooked, as well as what it's like to work in a high-profile yet enigmatic position in security and management.

Ann Wagner and Lacy Clay and Sens. Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt. Topics included the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in St. Louis, efforts at stopping human trafficking and more. Sean Coleman also presented on military education with Blunt and his staff.
