To gather important data about the outcomes of our graduates, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness needs your help in encouraging recent Summer 2017 graduates to complete the Webster University Outcomes Survey. The survey is delivered via email to recent graduates worldwide approximately six weeks after each term’s graduation date.

Marissa Cope

OIE Adds Assessment and Accreditation Analyst

The Office of Academic Affairs has added Marissa Cope as the Assessment and Accreditation Analyst in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Cope will be responsible for managing the University’s official documents related to institutional, programmatic, and country/national accreditation. She will also coordinate the collection of student learning outcomes assessment reports across the University as well as serving as the day-to-day administrator for Tk20.

Outcomes Survey for Spring 1 Graduates

To gather important data about the outcomes of our graduates, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness needs your help in encouraging Spring 1, 2017 graduates to complete the Webster University Outcomes Survey. The Outcomes Survey is delivered via email to recent graduates worldwide approximately six to eight weeks after each term’s graduation date. The survey asks recent graduates about the impact of their Webster experiences as well as their employment status, educational plans, and updated contact information.

Justin Bitner

Bitner Named Director of OIE

March 27, 2017

The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that Justin Bitner has been appointed director of Webster University’s Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE), effective immediately. Bitner has been serving as Interim director of the OIE since last July. He has been with Webster for six years and earned his B.A. in English from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and his M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.

Bitner

Bitner Named OIE Interim Director; Hempen Named ARC Student Success Coordinator

Justin Bitner has been appointed interim director of Webster University’s Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE), effective immediately. Bitner, who has been with Webster for five years, served as assistant director of the OIE under Julie Weissman, whose retirement was announced earlier. Separately, Lisa Hempen will move from Graduate Academic Advising to the Academic Resource Center to fill its open Student Success Coordinator position.

Applications for 2016-17 Provost's Faculty Fellows Program

Full-time Webster University faculty are invited to submit proposals for the 2016-17 Provost’s Faculty Fellows Program. This is an opportunity for faculty members to contribute to the leadership of Webster’s key strategic efforts on a part-time basis. Fellows are awarded a stipend for their work. The extended deadline for submission is Jan. 25, 2016.
