Enter the Annual Juried Photography Show

February 14, 2019

Entries for the 2018-2019 Annual Juried Photography Show are now being accepted. All currently enrolled Webster students in all programs worldwide are eligible, as are students who were enrolled in any term in 2018. The exhibition will run in the May Gallery from April 5-May 3, with a reception and awards presentation on Friday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m. Any work that involves a photographic process is welcomed, but the work should have been produced during the past year, while a student at Webster.

May Gallery: Centre Francophone Hosts Exhibit, Talk 'Mon Paris' by Peter Glendinning

The Centre Francophone will host an artist's talk with Peter Glendinning, whose "Mon Paris" ("My Paris") is on exhibit in the May Gallery March 2-31. The talk at 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, in Sverdrup Room 123, is moderated by Webster University faculty members Bill Barrett and Lionel Cuillé. Glendinning shares his vision of Paris having rented an apartment in the Marais annually for two weeks each summer.

Adobe Creative Jam: Artist Talks, Student Competition Feb. 9

Adobe Creative Jams demonstrate and celebrate creativity all across the country, and the next event is at Webster University Thursday, Feb. 9. In addition to guest leaders from the local creative community, both the School of Communications and Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts faculty have recommended their best students to compete on design teams in a three-hour charrette showdown, with audience members helping determine the winners.
