Webinar Sessions In Assigning Grades of Incomplete and Unlimited WebEx Storage

New Starfish Functionality: Direct Links

The Student Success Portal, powered by Starfish, has new functionality – Direct Links. This functionality includes several features for students, faculty, and staff such as individual and/or service-based online appointment scheduling, personal and/or service profiles, navigation to the student Intake Form tab, navigation to the student My Success Network tab, navigation to the Progress Survey tab, and options to embed external links in various communications, such as flag, referral, and kudos messaging.

Survey completion is especially helpful as the student success team navigates the issues brought about by COVID-19.

Incomplete Grades: Updated form, guidance for Spring I

Spring I grades are due by Friday, March 13, for both graduate and undergraduate courses. Any faculty member who submits a grade of Incomplete (I) for a student will be prompted to complete the Incomplete Grade Form and provided with a button to access and complete the form. The Incomplete Grade Form is an important record-keeping and communication tool that allows various offices to complete the necessary procedures to give the student access needed to complete their work. By more closely monitoring grades of Incompletes and their resolutions and ensuring that all grades are posted in a timely manner, Webster can help students remain on track to meet their academic goals.

Come learn how the Student Success Portal, Microsoft Office 365, and WorldClassRoom (Canvas) can help you support student success, engage your students in and out of the classroom, and collaborate and communicate with colleagues and students. All sessions will be held on Aug. 20 in the Library eClassroom (Emerson Library 110).
