David Clewell Honored for Lifetime Achievement by Webster Groves Arts Commission

David Clewell, Webster professor of English and former Poet Laureate of Missouri, will receive the 2017 Lifetime Achievement in the Arts award from the Webster Groves Arts Commission. The award recognizes outstanding Webster Groves citizens ofor their contributions and excellence in the arts. Clewell will be presented the award on Thursday, Oct. 12, at Webster Groves City Hall.

Parking on Lot K, G Restricted during Repertory Theatre Season

As a reminder for students, faculty and staff: Evening parking is restricted on Lots K and G during the Repertory Theatre season. The season begins on Sept. 6, when the Rep assumes control of those lots after 6 p.m. Faculty, staff and student vehicles parked there during the day must be removed from the lots by 6 p.m. or be subject to tickets and/or tow.

July 17: Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at Serendipity

The U.S. Postal Service is dedicating the Soda Fountain Favorites Forever Stamps on Sunday, July 17, National Ice Cream Day. The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. at Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream Parlor in Webster Groves, with ice cream specials every hour that day. Some of the activities include Silly Jilly the Clown, a balloon artist, a coloring page where children can create their own stamp and a local band at 6 p.m.
