WINS Conference Welcomes Study Abroad Partners to Leiden

The Webster International Network of Schools (WINS) program conference, held at the Leiden campus July 2-5, showcased Webster's international campuses as study abroad destinations for WINS partner institutions. This year's attendance marked the highest in WINS program history, including long-standing partners such as King's College, and new partners such as Goucher College.

In support of diversity in international education, Webster-Athens and Webster International Network of Schools (WINS) hosted Diversity Abroad’s inaugural European workshop on Oct. 4. Provost Julian Schuster delivered the keynote address. This conference supported Diversity Abroad’s outstanding work in the field, and aligned with Webster’s strategic commitment to global innovation through inclusive leadership.

Webster Hosts Study Abroad Partners, Presents at Annual NAFSA Conference

International education professionals from around the globe recently meet in Denver, Colorado for the annual NAFSA: Association of International Educators conference. More than 9,000 professionals gathered to discuss issues surrounding all specialties of the field. The conference featured more than 200 sessions and workshops including presentations by Webster’s Bethany Keller, assistant director of the Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs, and Kim McGrath, WINS director.

Webster University welcomes its newest Webster International Network of Schools (WINS) member, Transylvania University, a highly ranked liberal arts college in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. "Transy" encourages all students to study abroad, regardless of major, and offers a wide array of programs. Webster's international campus locations will provide a set of unique, high-quality learning opportunities for these students.
