Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Meet and Greet

This is an interdisciplinary program that takes an intersectional, transnational, feminist approach to the study of women, gender, and sexuality. It takes place Monday, Oct. 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program investigates how assumptions about gender and sexuality inform social, cultural, and political practices that both reproduce and resist hierarchies of power.

Annual WGST Open House April 6

The Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Committee invites the Webster community and the public to their annual Spring Open House event, to bring visibility to women, gender, sexuality and diversity issues. Student and campus organizations will be represented as well as community agencies at the Open House on Thursday, April 6, from 4-6 p.m. in Sunnen Lounge.

Post-Election Open Forum Nov. 18

The WILLOW Project and the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program invite you to an open forum for responses to the 2016 presidential election on Friday, Nov. 18, in the Library Conference Room. The forum is an open mic event, allowing students, staff, faculty and other Webster University community members to express their thoughts, feelings and concerns in a safe environment.
