Construction Update June 17 2016
Rendering of the future Interdisciplinary Science Building

This is a regular update of the construction work for the Interdisciplinary Science Building and the Parking Garage expansion on the home campus of Webster University in Webster Groves, Missouri:

  • Site clearing and mass excavation for the Interdisciplinary Science Building is expected to finish today. The breaking of rock is anticipated to continue until June 28.
  • Work on the tower crane foundation is anticipated to be completed early next week.
  • Crews have completed building the earth retention system..
  • The work on the drilled piers is expected to continue through July 14.
  • Laclede Gas is finishing work along Garden Avenue. Some piles of dirt will be left behind as the ground where they dug holes is expected to settle. Crews will return to more dirt in those indents to help level out those areas.
