Water To Be Temporarily Shut Off in EAB
A rendering of the interior of the Interdisciplinary Science Building

Due to the lightning storms, the time for the water shut off has been moved to early Thursday morning. This story has been updated to reflect the new times.

ST. LOUIS - Water to the East Academic Building will be shut off at 3 a.m.. Thursday, May 12 and will not be restored until about 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, though further weather delays could push the start-up time to 7 a.m.

The EAB also will lose water for a few minutes between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 so that crews can test and make sure that no other systems will be affected by the longer shut-off.

The water needs to be shut off so work crews can relocate a water line in the area. The relocation is needed as part of the ongoing construction of the Interdisciplinary Science Building.

The entire project, including the expansion of the parking garage, is expected to be completed in July of 2017. Please watch Webster Today or the University’s online newsroom for more announcements and updates about the project.
