The City of Webster Groves approved a Conditional Occupancy Permit for the Building Friday.

The City approved a permit to occupy Browning Hall Friday. Some construction is still going on, so students, faculty and staff are asked to be aware of the work and exercise caution when navigating the building. In other news, contact information on how to schedule rooms in the building has been determined, and Marletto's is nearly finished.

Browning Hall is nearly completed. The  University is waiting for the city to issue an occupancy permit, which is expected any day.

Construction Update Aug 9 2017

While the University waits for an occupancy permit, the city has agreed to give access to some administrators and faculty members who need to start setting up offices in anticipation of the start of the Fall Semester. Some floors in the building still require safety equipment be worn at all times while work crews make finishing touches to the rooms.

There are several updates in the latest edition of the Construction updates, from the status of Browning Hall to a description of the work that has been completed in the Marletto's Marketplace remodeling project. There also are reminders about the upcoming planned power outage and information about the upcoming work for the Sverdrup Building.

Safety Reminder - Browning Hall Off Limits to All but Authorized Personnel

Browning Hall, the Interdisciplinary Science Building, is nearly completed, but construction crews are still on site installing major components of the building and completing punch list work. Because it is still officially under construction, the building and the area inside the fenced-off construction zone are off-limits to all but authorized personnel.
