Electrical Customer Substation, Phase 2 Project

On Saturday, Aug. 29, from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., the substation contractor will disconnect the East Academic Building, H. Sam Priest House and Thompson Music Building from Ameren Missouri electric and connect them to Webster University’s new electrical substation.

These buildings will not be accessible to faculty, staff, or students during this time as there will be no electrical power to these buildings.

How to Prepare: Power Off Computers, Electrical Equipment Aug. 28

To prepare for this work, the occupants of these buildings must to turn off all computers, any other electrical equipment and departmental copy machines on Friday, Aug. 28 before departing. Also, please remove food and any other perishable items from refrigerators and take precautions with small office refrigerators, as they will defrost while unpowered.
