President Elizabeth (Beth) Stroble was quoted Monday in a St. Louis Post-Dispatch article about how much regional universities commit to low-income students. The article cited the high percentage of Webster student who receive institutional financial aid.

Religious Studies Professor Chris Parr was interviewed Tuesday live on 97.1 FM for Michael Lynch’s “Paranormal Tuesdays” segment on the Dave Glover Show. The Podcast of that interview will be posted as part of "Hour Three" of the Aug. 11, 2015 episode.

Webster University's program that allows students, faculty and staff to ride area buses and Metro trains for free was mentioned Monday in a St. Louis Post Dispatch story. Webster University has offered the service for the past four years. FOX 2 news also mentioned the program during its Tuesday morning newscast.

Webster alumna Jenifer Lewis '79 was the subject of a feature story in STL Gazette Magazine (page 72). The article focused on her career, her battle with bipolar disorder and her recent stint as Webster's Commencement speaker.

Spike Lee's upcoming lecture in the Loretto-Hilton Center was mentioned in the St. Louis Business Journal.
