2016 United Way Campaign Wrap-Up

The 2016 Webster University United Way campaign has ended, raising a total of $38,000. The planning committee would like to thank all St. Louis area faculty and staff for their generosity and for participating this year.

The three-week long campaign featured weekly drawings for premium household items. Anyone clicking their personalized emailed link, regardless of contribution amount, was automatically registered and eligible to participate in the drawings.

The final grand prize — the Bose SoundTouch 20 Series 2 Wi-Fi music system was awarded to Professor Dunsi Dai, Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Congratulations to Prof. Dai and to all prize recipients during the campaign.  This year's United Way campaign contributions support a network of 200 local organizations -- more than 20 of these are located within just two miles of the Webster Groves campus. These vetted and respected organizations help more than 1 million members of the St. Louis area community each year.

The Webster community's efforts are part of an overall regional effort that has raised an unprecedented $75 million in current contributions for United Way of Greater St. Louis agencies.
