Webster Career

In addition to her current position, Parsons previously served as graduate assistant to Greg Gunderson, past vice president and chief financial officer. As part of that role, she worked with the office of Student Activities under John Ginsburg and Jennifer Stewart. Prior to her graduate work, she served on the Student Government Association, Webster Students for Environmental Sustainability, and the LGBTQ Alliance, receiving the Campus Voice Award in 2012.

She has also been a member of the Sustainability Coalition for six years, spanning her time as a student and as a full-time employee. Parsons received a B.A. with International Distinction in International Human Rights, certificates in Entrepreneurship and Leadership, and an MBA, emphasis in Finance from Webster University.

“As a first generation college student, I owe a lot of who I am to the opportunities I’ve been given at Webster,” Parsons said. “I can only hope that my contributions back to this institution are worth even 10% of what I’ve gained. While it’s hard to leave, I am excited to take the next step in my career.”
