Search Advisory Committee Formed for Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Webster University President Elizabeth (Beth) J. Stroble announces the search advisory committee for the position of vice president and chief financial officer. Committee members will assist in recruiting and evaluating a strong and diverse pool of talented financial professionals. 

Members of the committee are:

  • Laura Rein (Chair), dean of University Libraries
  • Lawrence Baden, associate professor, Communications and Journalism Department
  • Ken Freemen, vice president and chief information officer
  • Maria Hein, director of Procurement Services
  • Ted Hoef, associate vice president and dean of Students
  • Thomas Johnson, interim dean of the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology, Associate Vice President, and chief of Strategic Initiatives
  • Oliver Schindler, director of Finance and Administration
  • Stephanie Schroeder, chair and associate professor, Department of Biological Sciences
  • Rita Smith, director of Academic Resources and Planning

The appointment of the vice president and chief financial officer is anticipated to be announced in the summer.
