St Louis-Area Campus Closures Extended Through Sunday Jan 15
A public safety message

Due to continuing severe weather conditions throughout the St. Louis area, Webster University’s St. Louis-area campus locations (Webster Groves, Gateway at the Arcade Building, Westport, WingHaven, Scott Air Force Base) are closed today, Friday, Jan. 13 and will remain closed Saturday, Jan. 14 and Sunday, Jan. 15.

This means Webster University-sponsored events on campus are canceled (e.g. this weekend’s Film Series and Sunday’s Community Music School concerts) and all offices are closed. Saturday’s Japanese New Year’s event has been rescheduled for Jan. 21. Watch Webster Today next week for more information on that event.

Students Returning to Campus

Students who live on campus but have not yet returned to campus should consider taking their time returning to campus, due to the hazardous travel conditions; however, if a return cannot be delayed, members of Housing and Residential Life will be ready for you this weekend. Housing and Residential Life staff are working with Sodexo to make sure that food services will be available Sunday and Monday. All residential students should check their webster.edu email addresses for more information.

Spring Classes Resume Tuesday, Jan. 17

As a reminder, there will be no classes on Monday, Jan. 16, in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday. Online materials will be available but in-person classes for both undergraduate and graduate courses will not be in session on Monday.
