Book Club: James Lang's 'Cheating Lessons: Learning from Academic Dishonesty
Book club will meet Monday, Jan. 22, at noon.

Looking for a thought-provoking book to read over the holiday season? Join the Webster University Book Club on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at noon in the Library Conference Room for a discussion of James Lang's Cheating Lessons: Learning from Academic Dishonesty. Everyone is welcome.

Lang argues that research shows our students cheat because of the incentives to try to cheat that are built into our educational system. On a more hopeful note, he believes that teaching strategies to prevent cheating actually improve student learning.

Copies are available on reserve at the Library and there is an eBook copy as well.

Carolyn Brown, coordinator for the Writing Center and the Plagiarism Prevention Program, will lead the discussion.
