Erin Bullerdieck Farewell Reception July 13

Please join the  Academic Resource Center in wishing Erin Bullerdieck, coordinator of the Transitions program, good luck and farewell as she leaves Webster University. Bullerdieck has accepted the position of associate director in the Student Learning Center at University of California Berkeley. In her new role, Bullerdieck will co-direct the learning center which services more than 27,000 undergraduate and 6,000 graduate students. She will lead a team of professional staff who oversee the centers academic support services.

Bullerdieck joined Webster University in July 2009 and created and grew the Transitions Academic Prep (TAP) program including the summer TAP program. The Transitions program has serviced over 600 students and has been instrumental is supporting the University’s retention and student success initiatives. The summer TAP program, now in its 7th year, has tripled in size. The program has grown and is currently a 10 day residential program for up to 40 students. Students earn two academic credits for participation in the program.

During her tenure, Bullerdieck received the Employee Spotlight Award, the Women of Webster Award, and was recognized by President Stroble and the Board of Trustees last fall for advancing strategic plan goals with the quality of their programs and/or achieving student success through recruitment and retention.

A farewell reception is planned for Thursday, July 13, from 3-4:30 p.m. in the ARC, Loretto Hall Room 40.
