Deadlines for Faculty Petitioning for Initial Status and/or Promotion

Faculty members intending to petition for initial status (FDL or tenure) and/or promotion in the 2017-2018 academic year should be aware of the following deadlines:

A Letter of Intent is due the Friday of the first week of classes in the Fall semester. For 2017-18, the due date is Friday, Sept. 1, 2017. Petitioning faculty members must send notice of their intent to seek Initial/Continuing Status or Tenure, and/or Promotion (with rank specified) to CRF, their Department Chair, and the Dean in writing.

Signed hard copies of letters of support must be received by the date the portfolio is due. CRF strongly prefers hardcopy paper letters of testimony, however, electronic delivery of signed PDF letters is permissible. Such signed PDF letters shall only be accepted if e-mailed to the following address: crf@webster.edu For 2017-18, the deadline for all letters of support is Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.

Both the letter of intent and the hard copy letters of support should be addressed to:

Complete Portfolios Due Oct. 30

The complete portfolio (including both the petitioner’s materials and the department’s materials) is due to the Committee on the Monday after Fall Break. For 2017-18, the due date is Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.
