Academic Advising Center sponsoring discussion on faculty advising resources

The Academic Advising Center’s undergraduate team is sponsoring a discussion on faculty advising resources Friday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. in EAB, room 133.

The team has set as a year-long project to build modules that will help all faculty and staff advisors assist students with questions about topics such as degree audits, adding/dropping/withdrawing from classes, understanding transfer credits, and how credits count in the Global Citizenship Program (GCP).

Friday’s program will also include veteran faculty advisors talking about GCP, departmental advising, and the Summer Advising Team.

This program is the first of a series with others planned for Nov.17, 2017, Feb. 2, 2018 and April 4, 2018.

RSVP to Kim Kleinman, director of undergraduate advising, for Friday's event.
