Spring 2016 Faculty Review Notices

The Committee to Review Faculty invites signed, written testimony on any of the faculty listed below who are going up for initial status (FDL or tenure) and/or promotion. Letters sent directly to CRF should be addressed to:

In addition, though CRF strongly prefers hardcopy paper letters of testimony, electronic delivery of signed PDF letters is permissible. Such signed PDF letters shall only be accepted if e-mailed to the following address: crf@webster.edu.

The receive-by deadline for letters to CRF is Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.

Review Criteria Unless otherwise noted, for each review Webster University faculty, staff and students are invited to submit written and signed testimony relevant to the following criteria:

  • Classroom teaching
  • University contributions
  • Professional activities/contributions
  • Student advising
  • Department contributions/service

The departments for the following faculty members have posted notice of faculty reviews during Fall 2017. Please see the text after each faculty member name for instructions and deadlines for submitting testimony. 

Note: This post is updated with new names throughout the term as notice of new reviews are received. You can find a department or faculty member’s name quickly by doing a CTRL-F search for their name.

The Department of Art, Design, and Art History

  • Tate Foley: The Department of Art, Design, and Art History is soliciting written testimony for Tate Foley who is seeking Tenure Faculty Status and promotion to Associate Professor.   • Stuart Chapman Hill: The Department of Music is soliciting testimony regarding Stuart Chapman Hill, Assistant Professor and Director of Music Education, for his second-year review.   • Jacob Lassetter: The Department of Music is soliciting testimony regarding Jacob Lassetter, associate professor and Director of Opera Studio, for his second-year review.   • Seth Jackson: The Conservatory of Theatre Arts is soliciting written testimony for Seth Jackson, who is petitioning for FDL status and promotion to associate professor.
