GLA Summer Session in Thailand Continues with Leadership, Cultural Activities
GLA fellows and the provost joined staff in Bangkok in creating paper flowers, part of a nationwide remembrance of the King of Thailand.

The 2017 cohort of Webster University's Global Leadership Academy continued its summer session in Thailand with leadership and personality reflections with David Pendleton before the group transferred from Bangkok to Cha-am.

Cultural activities along the way included a visit to Phra Nakorn Khiri National Museum and Historical Park, seeing monkeys and a royal palace in Phetchaburi.

Before they left Bangkok, the group and Provost Julian Schuster joined Bangkok campus staff in participating in the nationwide creation of 60 million paper flowers to commemorate the beloved king of Thailand who passed away last year.

After learning about Webster's Bangkok location and international campus leadership earlier in the week, on Thursday and Friday the cohort will visit the Cha-am campus.

Once there, teams within the cohort will present the projects they have been working on as part of their yearlong GLA activities.

The fellows participated in cultural activities and visits before transferring between Webster's Bangkok and Cha-am locations.

The Global Leadership Academy (GLA) is a leadership development program open to the faculty and staff of the Webster University global community.
