New Study Abroad Director Named

The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that Kelly Heath has been named director of the Office of Study Abroad.

Heath comes to Webster from Loyola University Chicago, where she spent 15 years in progressive positions in the Office for International Programs, including study abroad advisor, assistant director and Beijing Center coordinator, and associate director of Study Abroad.

“Kelly’s broad experience in important components of study abroad – from program development and recruitment to policy and program assessment – will help us to continue to strengthen and improve study abroad experiences for our students,” said Nancy Hellerud, vice provost. “Kelly’s experience as a study abroad student in Spain and Mexico, including acquiring a foreign language, will resonate with Webster students who are looking for models of how global education can impact your career.”

Kelly has a B.A. in Spanish from Bates College in Maine and an M.Ed. in Higher Education, Student Affairs Specialization, from Loyola University Chicago.  She will join Webster on Monday, Oct. 16.
