ORSP Fall Speaker Series on Faculty Productivity
The next ORSP workshop will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 11

Last Friday brought an impressive group of faculty writers and researchers together for a day of workshops focused on building productivity. In sessions on Planning for a Productive Year and Juggling Multiple Projects, speaker Katie Linder, from Oregon State University, elicited lively conversation around the tools attendees use to stay organized and offered insights into planning regimens that optimize for daily energy levels and maximum accountability.

For those who are intent on making meaningful progress in your research this year, please join ORSP and Emerson Library staff for a Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, Oct. 11. We will have a free sandwich and salad buffet  and an insider tour of Mendeley the University’s latest tool to help you organize your research, fund your research and network online with others in your field. The Lunch and Learn will be hosted in the Emerson Library Conference room from 12–1 p.m. All are welcome!


On Wednesday, Nov. 15, please join Dani MacCartney and Eric Goedereis for a workshop on Developing Your Semester Plan. This will be the final workshop in the ORSP’s semester-long Productivity Series. Please join MacCartney and Goedereis from 2–3 p.m. in Browning Hall 352 for this session aimed at promoting accountability and purposeful planning for those looking to balance their scholarly goals with other responsibil
