Guillo Rodriguez Retirement Celebration May 25

The Office of Study Abroad invites you to the retirement celebration for Guillermo Rodrِíguez on Thursday, May 25, from 4-6 p.m. at the Global Exchange, Sverdrup room 107.
Rodriguez is director of International Projects and Study Abroad and is retiring on May 31 after nearly 19 years at Webster University. He is a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators and Webster’s official representative in the Forum on Education Abroad.  In addition Rodríguez is president of the Midwest Association for Latin American Studies (MALAS), which will hold its 2017 conference at the Webster Gateway Campus in October. He is the secretary of the Council on Foreign Relations St. Louis Committee, a board member of Dance St. Louis, as well as member of the steering committee of the St. Louis Regional International Partnership. A Rotarian for more than 40 years, Rodriguez is past president of the Rotary Club of Webster Groves/ and two clubs in his native Puerto Rico: Rio Piedras and Mayagüez -Playa.
Rodriguez has played a major role in advancing Webster University's mission in creating "global citizens" through study abroad. His leadership and dedication to helping students achieve their educational goals will be sorely missed.
