The 2017 Webster University United Way campaign closes with the announcement of the grand prize winner of a Bose Wi-Fi Music System. Congratulations to Dorcas McLaughlin, professor, Nursing.

The planning committee would like to thank all St. Louis area faculty and staff for their generosity and participation this year. 

The three-week long campaign featured weekly drawings for premium household items. Anyone clicking their personalized emailed link, regardless of contribution amount, was automatically registered and eligible to participate in the drawings.

Special congratulations to all three prize drawing winners:

  • Terri Lucas, director, IT, who won a Nutri Ninja Compact Blender;
  • Mollie Grossman, DPS, who won an Amazon Echo; and
  • Dorcas McLaughlin, Nursing, who a Bose Wi-Fi Music System.

The Webster community's efforts are part of an overall regional effort toward a fundraising goal of $75.5 million for United Way of Greater St. Louis agencies.

This year's United Way campaign contributions support a network of 200 local organizations -- more than 20 of these are located within just two miles of the Webster Groves campus. These vetted and respected organizations help more than 1 million members of the St. Louis area community each year.
