Webster Advisors at NACADA Summer Institute
Faculty and staff advisors in Albuquerque

A team of Webster University faculty and staff advisors gathered at the NACADA (Global Community for Academic Advising) Summer Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to work on an action plan to discuss the creation of a Global Advising Council for Webster University.

Faculty advisor attendance at the summer institute was funded in part by the Presidential Retention Challenge Fund.

In addition to dedicated time working toward this action plan, the team also attended valuable sessions about academic advising such as the importance of faculty advising, ethical and legal issues in advising, assessment in advising, and the revised NACADA core competencies.
