Remembering Brad Loudenback, Professor of Art
Brad Loudenback was professor of art in Webster's Department of Art, Design and Art History.

The Webster University community mourns the loss of Brad Loudenback, professor of art, who passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. The University extends condolences to his wife, Gwyneth Williams, professor of political science in the College of Arts & Sciences, and his stepdaughter, Brynn Davis.

Loudenback was director of the drawing program and new illustration program in the Department of Art, Design and Art History in Webster's Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts.

Based at the main campus in Webster Groves, Loudenback also taught at the Webster Vienna campus and served on various faculty committees and Webster's Faculty Senate. 

He worked in the mediums of oil painting, figurative drawing and collage. His work, exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States, considers contemporary cultural interests and its intersections with the history of art.

Service and Memorial Information

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 3-7 p.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, Missouri, 63122.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, 100 East Adams Ave., Kirkwood, Missouri, 63122.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church Cathedral, 1210 Locust Street, St. Louis, Missouri, 63103.
