Staff and Faculty Holiday Reception Dec. 13: Donations benefit child welfare organizations

Chancellor Beth Stroble and President Julian Schuster invite St. Louis-area faculty and staff to celebrate the holiday season with drinks and hors d'oeuvres on Friday, Dec. 13, from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Edward Jones Commons of the East Academic Building.

Holiday Donations for Children's Permanency Partnership

In the spirit of the season, guests are invited to bring donations for Children's Permanency Partnership (CPP), which is a consortium of three highly respected child welfare organizations: Epworth Children & Family Services, Family Forward and Youth in Need.

CPP was formed in 2005 to provide foster care case management and resource development services, through a contract with the Missouri Children's Division. Annually, they provides services to over 1,000 children and families foster, adoptive, kinship, and relative families residing in the Missouri regions;
St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and Jefferson County.

The following is a list of preferred items needed for the children and families they serve:

  • Duffel bags, suitcases and backpacks
  • Clothes and coats
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Toys and games
  • School supplies
