Forness will lead the team, which coordinates University-wide and targeted outreach special events for the Office of the President and the Office of Advancement, including Board of Trustees events, donor relation events, groundbreakings, building dedications, guest speakers, Convocation and Commencement.

“We are excited to welcome Caitlin to Webster. As an alumna, she knows Webster well, which will help complement her extensive background in both domestic and international event management,” Stroble said.

“Both Caitlin and Corinne’s collective knowledge of Webster and their creative events experience will ensure the Office of Special Events continues to enhance engagement with some of Webster’s key constituents, who provide critical support to the University’s mission. They are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams of colleagues and volunteers to provide impactful events.”

Forness joins Webster after serving as Customer Engagement Specialist at Boeing, where she managed many large, special projects such as product roll-outs, off-site conferences and contract award ceremonies. Previously, she was sales and marketing manager at DTAA Incorporated, where she was responsible for all event planning and marketing management. Her background includes managing events across a variety of cultural settings.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to return to my alma mater, doing something I love,” Forness said.

She is a Webster University alumna, having earned her Master’s in Business Administration through Webster’s George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology in 2011. Prior to earning her MBA from Webster, Forness earned a BA in Humanities and Public Affairs from Missouri State University.

Hilbert is also a Webster University alumna – a double alumna – having earned her BA in Film Production in 2002 and her MA in Advertising and Marketing in 2003 through the School of Communications. This promotion transfers Hilbert to the Office of Special Events from Webster’s Office of Advancement, where she has worked since 2015, most recently as manager of Alumni Engagement. Before returning to Webster as a staff member, she produced business meetings and special events at ITC.
